Jennifer is a Founder and Partner with Path Forward Legal. She is a firm believer in getting to know a client’s priorities based on the unique circumstances of each client and using her experience to help them navigate their way through the legal system. Jennifer believes in creating a unique and tailored plan for each client, specific to their case. She brings compassion and understanding to each client she represents and takes the time to explain the law, answer questions, and build a case-specific strategy so clients feel confident about their options moving forward. Jennifer believes in a team approach and will often work with others such as mitigation specialists, investigators, or other experts in order to achieve the best result for the client.
Jennifer has been a defense attorney for over 13 years and practices all over the Front Range. Prior to becoming a defense attorney, Jennifer was a Deputy District Attorney with the Weld County District Attorney’s office. Jennifer believes that it is important to be able to see a case from both sides, as a defender and as a prosecutor, in order to really understand how to analyze the case and formulate the best plan of attack for the client. Jennifer has extensive trial experience ranging from minor traffic to serious sexual assault cases.
Jennifer earned both her J.D. and B.S.B.A from the University of Denver. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Jefferson County Bar Association, Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and the Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel.
When Jennifer is not practicing law, she likes to volunteer her time coaching the mock trial program at a local high school or spend time in the mountains with her family.
